  • Where do you deliver?
    We deliver within a 10 mile radius of Hockessin, Delaware. FREE delivery to DE zip codes 19707, 19711, 19808, 19807, 19716, 19717, 19736, 19735, 19710. $8 delivery fee for delivery to zip codes 19702 & 19701 $12 delivery fee for delivery to zip code 19720 $8 delivery fee for delivery to other zip codes within 5 miles (Custom Event Orders Only) $15 - $18 delivery fee for delivery to other zip codes within 15 miles (Custom Event Orders Only) We deliver, in the most efficient order, on Saturday mornings starting at 9:00 AM ET. We take a limited number of orders in an effort to deliver them all before 1 PM ET each Saturday. We deliver further, and on days other than Saturday, for large event orders, when possible. Please fill out and submit our Custom Order Request Form if you're interested in placing a large event order that doesn't fit into the constraints of our typical order window.   • What type of bakery are you?
    We are a state licensed, smoke-free, pet-free, Cottage Food (home) bakery located in North Star (Newark), DE. I'm ServSafe certified working toward opening a commercial kitchen. Every like, share, comment and order brings us one step closer. Thank you!
  • Can I pick up my order?
    Yes and no. Explanation below. We don't offer weekly pickup at this time. That may change in the future. Please stay tuned. However, when we are at public events, we do allow pre-order pickups from our table at the event during event hours. On those days there will be no delivery. Please arrive with your order number on your confirmation email. Either print out your confirmation email or show it to us on your phone. You'll need to show us your order number so we can retrieve your order for you and mark it as picked up.
  • How do I store and/or re-heat my pastries?
    Our baked goods are safe at room temperature (under 74 degrees Fahrenheit). We still recommend refrigeration, with the exception of cookies, to maintain optimal freshness and safety, at any temperature, if you wait more than 2 hours to eat your pastries after delivery. Also, refrigerate any pastries that are jam-filled, if they're not eaten within 2 hours. Store them in the container they come in, with the lid on, in the refrigerator for up to 3 days. When you’re ready to dig into a warm cinnamon roll, heat it in the microwave for 12 – 18 seconds. Enjoy your mini buttermilk cakes slightly cold or at room temperature (the best!). Remove from the refrigerator 15 - 30 minutes before eating.
  • Why are there no delivery dates available?
    Some weeks delivery is not available. This could be due to an event we're attending, holidays, or personal schedule conflicts. We accept orders for every Saturday until the Tuesday before delivery day. We're only able to deliver a limited number of pastries every Saturday. So, it is also possible for us to sell out during our ordering window. Large event orders are available outside of our normal Saturday delivery dates and times. A delivery fee applies.   • When do you deliver?
    Weekly we deliver Saturdays starting at 9 AM ET. The delivery date is always noted at checkout before you purchase. We also deliver on days other than Saturday, for large event orders, when possible.   • What time is delivery? Can I select a specific delivery time for my Saturday delivery?
    We begin delivering orders on Saturdays at 9 AM ET. You cannot select a specific delivery time, at this time. We deliver in the most efficient order depending on where deliveries will be that day. We take a limited number of orders every week in an effort to deliver everything before 3 PM ET. IF YOUR SATURDAY ORDER IS FOR A TIMED EVENT: Email us before ordering to see if we can accommodate your required delivery time. OR make a note when you submit your order informing us of your required time. If we cannot accommodate your specific time we will inform you immediately.
  • What if I won't be home for delivery? Do you offer contactless delivery?
    Please have someone at your residence to receive your pastries on Saturday. If you can't be home on a certain Saturday, please wait for a Saturday that you, or someone else, will be home to receive your pastries. If there is no answer when we attempt to hand-deliver, your order will be left at your front door and we'll email you, immediately, that your order was delivered. We are not responsible for your pastries once they've been left at your front door. We are only able to attempt hand delivery one time. If you'd like contactless delivery, please select that option at checkout. We will leave your order at your front door, only. Once delivered, we'll email your order's email address to inform you that your order has arrived. We'll also text you if you provided your phone number during checkout. Although, you don't have take your pastries from our hands, we highly suggest that you're there to retrieve your contactless delivery right after we drop it off. We don't want it sitting outside for long. We are not responsible for your pastries once they've been left at your front door, at your request.
  • My delivery address zip code is in range but I am getting an error message. Help!
    This error typically occurs when an address auto-fills. There's an easy fix! Delete the extra 4 digits it adds to the end of the zip/postal code. Example: Auto-Fill Zip Code = "19707-1145" You Must Delete "-1145" so the zip/postal code is only 19707. If you don't delete the last 4 digits the auto-fill enters, our system won't recognize your zip/postal code. If you continue having trouble please contact us.
  • Payment Info
    All pastries are pre-order and must be paid for before delivery. We accept Credit/Debit Card payments securely through Stripe. We also accept Cash Payments through Cash App and Venmo. Cash payments must be paid in full by 1 PM ET the Wednesday before your scheduled delivery or the order will be cancelled. You must include your order number with your Cash App or Venmo payment.   • How do I make my Cash Payment?
    Complete your Cash Payment Below Scan the Cash App code below or send your Cash App or Venmo payment to $SaturdayBH. You must include your order number with your full cash payment so we know you've paid in full. Find the amount due next to "Total" on the "Thank You" page or in your Order Confirmation email. Cash payments must be paid in full by 11:59 PM ET this Wednesday to avoid cancellation. Any orders not paid in full by 1 PM ET the Wednesday before delivery will not be delivered. Thank you!
  • Can I change my delivery date? What is your cancellation policy?
    We respectfully request that you ONLY ORDER IF you're sure you want your pastries on the scheduled date. We understand emergency circumstances arise, which is the only time the following policies should be utilized. Thank you! Delivery Date Change: For a delivery date change, please contact us at least 48 hours in advance with your new preferred delivery date and order number. We'll do our best to accommodate your new date. Use our contact form below or email hello@saturdaybakehouse.com for assistance. Cancellation Policy: All payment processing fees are non-refundable. This is usually under or about $2.00 depending on the size of the order. If you need to cancel your Saturday delivery order, please contact us at least 48 hours in advance through our contact form below or email hello@saturdaybakehouse.com for assistance. Include your order number in your message. **Non-Refundable Fees** include credit card fees and any payment processing fees for all canceled orders. This is typically less than $2.00 and has already been taken by the payment processing companies. Please only order if you're sure you want to order. We are a very small operation and cannot afford to pay processing fees for any canceled orders at this time.
