Cinnamon rolls fresh baked all from scratch every week

/ OUR STORY

I couldn’t find a delicious cinnamon roll, no matter how many I tried.

 

Sure, in theory, brown sugar, cinnamon & butter should be delicious. Right? But every cinnamon roll I'd tasted, since forever, was a let down. 

Too bread-y, too dry, too big and bland with maybe a mediocre middle (if I was lucky). Just blah...

​So, around 2012-ish I decided to add cinnamon rolls to my list of baked goods I had to get just right. 

 

From there, an off-and-on 10+ year journey (slash obsession) began to create my perfect cinnamon roll.

 

Working with live yeast dough captivated me, so simple yet so complex. Time consuming yet, some how, worth every second. I learned, practiced, and experimented as much as I possibly could.

I could go on and on about the dozens of failed batches and “they’re ok” moments, Saturday after Saturday (and other days, but mostly Saturdays) but let’s just skip to the good part!

One Saturday in 2022, I finally made the perfect sized, best tasting, most delightful cinnamon rolls I’ve ever tried and my family agreed! They've been asking me to make them, non-stop, ever since. 

 

There’s no “the middle’s the only good part” either. Nope. The entire cinnamon roll is everything I always wanted a cinnamon roll to be. Soft & buttery with the perfect blend of warm spices and sweetness!

I never thought I’d share my love of cinnamon rolls, or buttermilk cakes, through a business. But, I think they're so good and I’m running out of excuses to not share them with more people. 

So, I hope you love them as much as my family and I do. Our Saturday Bakehouse has brought us many smiles and happy bellies.
